we will in no way compromise your personal privacy. We will never
share your information with a third party without first obtaining

being provided to inform you as to what personal information we

Voluntary Registration. First of all, your decision as to
whether or not to register on our site is strictly voluntary.
The educational software reviews on the website and the curriculum
section of the website are made available to you at no charge
and without the need to register. If you choose, at your discretion,
however, to take advantage of certain other (also free) services
on our site - for instance, to participate in our discussion board
or to receive our electronic newsletter - it is necessary for
you to first become a registered user. If you elect to become
a registered user, we ask for required and optional information
as follows:

Use of Personal Information. The information supplied by each
registered user is compiled and used by GoKnow to send out our
electronic newsletter (if desired by the registered user), to
identify the types of educational software which should be reviewed
as being of interest to our registered users, and to identify
the types of curricula which may be of interest to our registered
users. We also collect this personal information to help ensure
accountability with respect to the use of our discussion board
by registered users and to contact registered users in the event
any registered user places objectionable User Materials on the
discussion board or otherwise violates our terms (see our Terms
And Conditions). Neither the required information nor the optional
personal information submitted by any registered user is made
available to any third party without the consent of the registered
user.

Cookies. A cookie is a small data file that certain websites
write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie can contain
information such as the username or password which the website
uses to track the pages you visit. However, the only personal
information a cookie can contain is information you supply. A
cookie cannot read data off your hard drive, nor can it read cookie

as described in Section 2 above. Other linked websites may use
cookies, however, GoKnow has no control over such use.

to collect data and make use of it in ways that GoKnow would not.

and to ensure the correct use of collected information, GoKnow has

Your Right to Not Receive Our Newsletter
Registration
on our website is strictly voluntary. One of the choices available
to you if you register is whether or not you wish to receive our
electronic newsletter. You can choose not to receive our newsletter
when you originally register as a registered user, or you can elect
to receive the newsletter and later unsubscribe by simply following
the instructions on the bottom of each issue of the newsletter.

Opportunity to Correct or Update Your Information
If
you choose to become a registered user of our website, you can at
any later time update your personal information by simply entering
the registration area of the website.
